Cake Poker has been overlooked by too many pokers players. Cake Poker is one of the few U.S. friendly poker sites that have its own network, and that is also available to players around the world.

Cake Poker is the flagship of its network, which also hosts PlayersOnly, PowerPoker.com, and SportsBook Poker. It is clearly the most prominent of the four sites, with a great selection of games, incredible promotions that have been overlooked by the other major players in the industry, fantastic software, and some pretty awful players. In short, it is a place where a seasoned player can get a lot of great poker bonuses.

Cake Poker offers Omaha and Omaha Hi-Lo at various buy-in levels, as well as a number of Hold’em variations. Most of the action, however, can be found in No-Limit Hold’em games with low-stakes.

The site race recently began offering weekly guaranteed tournaments that are quite substantial in size, due in part to a player base that is growing every day. Cake Poker is very often placed in the top 10 rooms in the world in many online poker rankings.

Cake Poker’s competition would be wise to begin paying attention to Cake Poker’s loyalty programs and poker bonuses. There are frequent player points rewards that are offered in Gold Cards, Gold Stacks, and Gold Chips. In addition, there are six tiers of elite status levels, so while Cake Poker may still be one of the underdogs in the realm of the best online poker rooms, it can be a breath of fresh air for players who have for too long seen the same thing over and over again.

Promotions and Bonus Codes

PokerRating now has an exclusive offer of a first deposit bonus match of 110% up to $600, in addition to a New Depositor $500 freeroll.

Exclusive Bonus code for PokerRating players: RATING100

Bonus Payout

Frequent player points are earned through real-money ring games and tournament play, and when a player has bonus cash that is pending; it is disbursed in chunks of $10, based on a player’s amount of FPPs. For every $1 raked in a real-money ring game a player will earn 1 FPP, whereas in a real-money tournament, each $1 paid in tournament fees will earn the player 7 FPPS.

In order to clear $10, a player must earn roughly 167 FPPs.

Loyalty Program

Cake Poker’s loyalty program is progressive and generous, offering Gold Stacks, Gold Cards, and Gold Chips in reward for frequent player points earned.

Cake Poker offers their “Gold Chip Meter” to players who have earned a certain amount of FPPs. At this point, Gold Chips are awarded and can be used to enter tournaments or for prizes. Alternatively, players can hold on to their Gold Chips until they have a Gold Stack, which is even more sought-after and offers more and better poker bonuses.

For ring-game players who spend specified totals of time at the tables, there is the added perk of the Gold Card. With the Gold Card, there are many bonuses up for grabs, not the least of which is a $52,000 jackpot.

Freerolls and Tournaments

Cake poker offers a weekly $100,000 guaranteed tournament and a monthly $250,000 guaranteed tournament. All in all, there is a good volume of players in all of their tournaments, including the big ones.

Multi-table tourneys are offered every day, and with guaranteed prize pools. Again, the volume here is good, and the tournaments themselves usually have efficient planning and structuring in place, as many online poker reviews will attest.

Tournaments offered by Cake Poker include Pot-Limit Omaha, Omaha Ho-Lo, Hold’em, and from time to time they offer Seven-Card Stud with Deepstack and Turbo options for the Hold’em tourneys. Affordable satellites for big live tournaments such as the Irish Open and the Aussie Millions are also offered on a regular basis.

One of the really nice things about Cake Poker is that for those who are starting from scratch, the site offers a large number of freerolls, with some geared towards players who have deposited recently.

Graphics and Software

Cake Poker’s graphic interface and software is solid, with good graphics, a lot of reliability, and a lobby that is very intuitive.

Another positive aspect of Cake Poker’s online poker site is that there are two very different, yet well-designed table set-ups. On the one hand, a player can choose a table that is more life-like and includes avatars, or they may choose the simpler over-head table. The top-down table is visually much more quiet, but when using the table with avatars, the software tends to slow down just a bit.

Other than what has been mentioned, Cake Poker’s software has everything that one of the best online poker sites would be expected to offer: a four color deck, auto-rebuy, hand histories, seat selection, and player notes.

There are other software platforms in the industry that are better, but one of the features that many of the other big players in the online poker business is the large amount of poor players.

Support

Cake Poker offers round the clock support seven days a week in the form of both email support and phone support. The staff is quick, friendly, and knowledgeable.
